1BA-8592-AS Large Outlet Thermostat Housing for 1949-53 Flathead V8

This housing is made of stainless steel and comes with the large outlet (1-7/8") for fitting the large diameter upper radiator hoses from the 49-53 V8 to the large outlet radiators used in most pre 1949 flathead V8 engines. These have the same outlet angle as the original factory 1-1/4" cast iron housings. These help adapt the late style V8 hoses to the early type vehicles typical of most hot rod applications.
