40-7508-PRK Bushing Kit for Clutch Release Shaft

Kit includes two thin brass bushings and one steel clutch fork pin. The bushings are 0.945" OD (1.387" overall length) and have the single grease/lube opening. Fits early Ford 3 speed transmission gearbox cases from 1935-52 (see applications below) with the clutch release shaft mounted in the front of the case. Some later gearbox cases used the larger diameter bushings, so be sure to check the bushing bores and in your case before ordering.

* 1935-48 Ford 3 speed passenger car transmissions (confirm bushing bore size before ordering).

* 1939-48 Mercury 3 speed passenger car transmissions (confirm bushing bore size before ordering).

* 1935-52 Ford 3 speed Light Duty truck transmissions (confirm bushing bore size before ordering).

Note: The larger clutch shaft bushings are available as a separate kit (51A-7508-PRK). Also, bushings are slightly thicker than original and may require light reaming or honing to get the best fit to the clutch release shaft.
