AB-10 Alternator Bracket for 37-48 Flathead V8 Wide Belt Applications

Steel Bracket includes mounting hardware for the alternator. Fits following wide belt applications:

1937-48 Ford and Mercury passenger car V8 (221 and 239 cubic inch)
1937-47 Ford truck V8 (221 and 239 cubic inch)

Note: Bracket width is matched to the mounting flange of the stock 37-48 Ford intake manifold. The AB-10 measures 2.45" wide (inside the flange edges) and 3.00" overall width. This width keeps the bracket located in the manifold flange and allows for proper up/down movement for belt adjustment. Since the alternator has a small drive pulley, you may have to source a slightly longer fan belt than the original belt that was used with a generator and larger pulley. The bracket is also drilled and tapped for the stock fan mounting bracket used on 42-48 Ford cars, and 42-47 Ford trucks.
