B-7072-73K Lock key kit for 32-38 Transmission Mainshaft

This kit includes one each: B-7072 spring, B-7073 plunger, and B-7101 lock key. These pieces secure the 7103 second gear to the 7061 mainshaft on all early Ford light duty 3 speed transmissions (excluding the V8-60 transmissions).

Applications: 1932-38 (and some early 1939) Ford 3 speed toploader transmissions as used for the passenger cars and the pickup trucks. Refer to the exploded parts drawings for 1939 transmissions as most of these used the newer gearsets with the late style synchronizer assembly. These newer 39 types would NOT use this kit.
