VPOF-6731-AU oil filter element is the drop-in type for the cannister filter housings on USA made Ford and Mercury flathead V8 engines (1940-53). This high grade filter is made in the USA. Our part number is equivalent to the 7HA-6731 number. Filter includes the rubber gasket to seal element to the filter cannister housing.
