Description

A reproduction of the common valve removal tool (often called a pickle bar) that aids in installing the valve assemblies in all the 85-100hp flathead V8 motors. Slip the forked end between the valve spring coils to catch the groove in the valve guide and pull it downward. This allows you to remove the valve guide retaining clip, and then remove the entire valve assembly. The tool is also needed to reinstall the valve assembly. The tool has a corrosion resistant finish and a knurled handle.

Note: This tool is NOT designed to work on the flathead V8-60hp V8 or any of the flathead six engines.
